Hundreds of shots per day were administered at the morning session that ran from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and afternoon session from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. ????????????????"It was a great experience to communicate with patients, answer their questions and find out first-hand what it's going to be like in the field," said Marietta Pena, a student at PMI.
Fellow students Loretta Padilla, Mindy Zamora and Ashley Paz added that they gave shots to many elderly people who had lots of questions and concerns.????????????????????"It was nice to be able to put their minds at ease, and it was a tremendous boost to my own confidence" said Zamora.

The award can only be given to one student-athlete per year, and to qualify, he/she must achieve three things: (1) be named First Team All-America in his/her sport, (2) graduate Summa Cum Laude, and (3) win the National Leadership Award, given to only twenty students per year by the President.
The award does not have to be given every year, and the last time someone received the award was over twenty years prior to Darius' return.
